Overview

The main objective of this workshop is to make the aspiring engineers acquainted with the conceptual as well as practical knowledge of the Industrial Automation & latest technologies being used to achieve industrial automation. The idea of organizing this workshop is to inculcate the basic fundamentals of automation in the students and provide them with a platform to work on PLC & HMI.

Trainer's Profile

Muhammad Sohaib

He is working as Team Lead in Industrial Monitoring &Automation Lab at Information Technology University. He received his B.Sc. Electrical Engineering degree and MBA Engineering Degree from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. Professional Control System Engineer having more than 5 years of experience in field of automation expertise on PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA System. Prior to that he worked in Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Sciences UET Lahore where he involved in application development and commissioning of various control system project. He also involved in the PLC Training program in KICS under Punjab Skill Development Fund. He also worked as Design and Application Engineer at INTECH Process and Automation he worked with many multinationals companies like TOTAL Nigeria, Chevron China on oil and gas projects. He has expertise to work on different PLC’s and SCADA System e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, FATEK, Mitsubishi.

M. Khalil Yousaf

He is working as Research Assistant in Industrial Monitoring &Automation Lab at ITU. Professional automation Engineer having more than 2 years of experience in field of Energy Conservation and Industrial Automation. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.  Prior to that he worked as Research Assistant in KICS UET Lahore and as an Electrical Engineer at Thal Industries Corporation.
